Aquarium

Roquetas Aquarium

 Just north of Roquetas, on the coast road, is a large Sea Life Aquarium, open every day from June to September.

Mario Water Park

Mario Water Park
Next to the Aquarium there is a water park, Mario Park. This is open every day , from 11.00 – 19.00.


Theme Parks

This area of Spain doesn’t have many theme parks. However, the desert of Tabernas has been used as a location for many “Spaghetti Western” movies, and there are three mini-theme parks which recreate the movie sets, all located close to Tabernas.
Oasys (formerly Mini Hollywood) The most famous and longest established of these. It has Wild West shows, a museum and a zoo, shows take place every day except Mondays.

Parque de las Ciencias (Science Park), Granada
The Parque de las Ciencias is an open-air museum. There are over 30,000 m2 of outdoor space holding the different exhibits, including: Biosphere, Eureka, Perception and Explore.: the Observation Tower, the Astronomy Garden, the Tropical Butterfly House, the Botanical Walks, the Plant Labyrinth and the "Almazara" (oil mill).
